Lead Cadastral Surveyor

With our surveying team growing we are now looking for an experienced licensed Lead Cadastral Surveyor to join our multi-disciplinary consultancy in our Auckland office and help grow this division within the Auckland region.

Reporting to our Surveying Manager this pivotal entry level leadership role will be tasked with helping grow and develop our Auckland Surveying Team. Our surveyors are ‘hands on’ when it comes to getting out in the field. This role requires a balance of getting the work done and leading the implementation of our growth strategy that seeks to build on the success of our existing service offering and well-established client base. You will be involved in numerous subdivisions and land development projects and ensure our clients’ success by providing quality surveying services and solutions.

What we are looking for:

  • Provide pragmatic technical insights and solutions to our clients.

  • Undertake fieldwork as required, and complete cadastral surveys and topographical surveys.

  • Discuss surveying or land development projects with clients, local authorities, other professionals, or local iwi.

  • Ensure project proposals comply with council district plans

  • Office work responsibilities including drafting, 12D, LOL, CAD, Civil 3D, and all other surveying software and applications as directed.

  • Prepare Resource Consents, where required, and management of the subdivision/development process.

  • Manage multiple deadlines and deliver in a timely manner
